Intro to Agentic Development Platforms

Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) have been built for humans, not for AI agents. An Agentic Development Platform (ADP) extends your IDP so humans and AI agents can collaborate at enterprise scale. This course gives you a clear understanding what an Agentic Development Platform is, how to design paths, interfaces, and guardrails, and which architecture decisions you need to run agents safely across your organization.

What you'll learn

During this course, you'll learn:

checkmark How the shift from IDP to ADP works and why the architecture question is about extension, not replacement
checkmark The three layers of an Agentic Development Platform: your existing tooling, path definitions, and agent infrastructure
checkmark How to design probabilistic, deterministic, and hybrid paths that keep agents on track and governed
checkmark Where to start building your ADP, including the dispatch layer, the two paths to ship first, and how to measure outcomes over 90 days
